About this event

Join Frassati Fellowship of NYC as we take a stand for the most vulnerable in our society, the child in the womb. This will be an overnight pilgrimage trip to the March for Life in Washington, D.C., January 24-25, 2020. We will travel down Friday morning in time to attend the NY pilgrim Mass with Cardinal Dolan.

After the activities on the day of the March, we’ll stay overnight so that we can attend the Cardinal O’Connor Conference at Georgetown University on Saturday. (More info about the Cardinal O'Connor Conference can be found here.)

We will return to NYC late Saturday evening. Please note that once the first van is filled, all tickets will be waitlisted until there is enough interest for a second vehicle.

This year, we are happy to offer an option for an extended trip as well. Mother Seton, a parish about 45 minutes North of D.C. will be holding a Praise and Worship night to celebrate life on the eve of the March, Thursday, January 23. The event will feature several Franciscan Friars of the Renewal and musicians from Frassati's own music ministry. (More info about the Mother Seton Parish event can be found here.)

Pilgrims who register for the extended option will travel to Maryland Thursday afternoon, stay overnight at the Mother Seton parish, meet up with the regular trip Friday morning, and return to NYC all together late Saturday evening.

If you are interested in the extended trip, please purchase a ticket for the Thurs-Sat trip.** Please note that if we are not able to fill a van for this extended option, you will be automatically registered for the regular Fri-Sat trip and will be refunded the difference in cost.

Ticket sales will end on Monday, January 13, ten days in advance of the March, in order to allow coordination of the various waitlists and trips. As such, please purchase tickets as soon as possible and provide up-to-date contact information so that we can get in touch with you quickly and easily.

Your March for Life ticket includes:

- Round-trip transportation, tolls, and gas to/from New York City

- Registration for the Cardinal O'Connor Conference and lunch

- Bagel breakfast the morning of your departure

- Overnight lodging for each night of your trip

Important info to know before registering:

- A sleeping bag is required by our overnight accommodations

- All payments are non-refundable unless we are able to fill your spot

- We cannot guarantee what time the vans will arrive back to NYC

- Pilgrims should pack as lightly as possible due to limited space in the vans, and be prepared for inclement weather as the March takes place outside in wintertime

- We encourage you to pack water and snacks for the journey to DC and back

Waitlist

If all the tickets are sold out when you attempt to sign up, please sign up for the wait list option ASAP so we can guage interest and whether or not we will be able to add an additional vehicle. If you sign up for a waitlist ticket, you will receive updates as they occur (possibly even daily). If you are on the waitlist and are able to drive a personal car, please let us know because it may allow us to increase the number of attendees.

"As believers, how can we fail to see that abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide are a terrible rejection of God's gift of life and love? And as believers, how can we fail to feel the duty to surround the sick and those in distress with the warmth of our affection and the support that will help them always to embrace life?" St. Pope John Paul II
